Just wondering if anyone has experienced a hormonal sow during pregnancy? My sow usually lives with the boar & another sow & get along fine, I think she is pregnant (early stages 3 weeks) I took the boar to be neutered & took the non-pregnant sow with him for company. On my return from the vets the pregnant sow has been attacking the other (the boar is being kept seperate at the mo until he is healed).
Do you think it is pregnancy hormones or terratorial, they were only apart for 24 hours & I can't believe she is being like this when they usually get along so well. Any help gratefully appreciated. |

Thanks for the reply, she has settled now, phew!!
It was just so out of character for her as they more often will be snuggling together than seperate. |
