Hi poppy
if you live in Derby then i think your closest shows would be ?
Peterborough - 31st March, 9th June, 13th October, 1st December,
Loughborough - 18th February, 29th April, 26th August, 28th October, 9th December,
Warwickshire - 10th February, 2nd June, 6th October, 3rd November,
Staffordshire - 11th February, 1st April, 16th September, 2nd December,
Lincolnshire - 17th March, 1st September, 8th September,
Birmingham - 18th March, 20th May, 14th July, 13th October, 25th November
they might be a little drive away from you but it shouldnt be too far ?
i live in kent and at the end of the year i always try to do loughbourgh ?
i like the show and its friendly ? but it is a far way to drive for me ! over 2 or 3 hours i think ?
most shows you go to are very easy to to get to and are full to the brim of guinea pig mad people and they will all be really helpfull ! im sure they are a few members on this site who live by you and could help you get settled into a club or two ?! hehehhe
because december is a long way off for me to be of any help
if you need any details on any of these shows just give me a shout and i will be more than willing to give you the addresses !
the more piggy people in the world the better ! heheheheh
i hope that was of some help ! _________________ Hugging a Himalayan a day, Keeps the Doctor away !!

it must be very irratating ?
i would love to meet you i wish you all the best and i wish i could be there to help you on your first day ?
but i am always here if you need any thing

Oh yes i am nice and friendly
I am more of shy when come to new people because I still get the hang of lipreading new people (I have loop system that help with speech)
I was planning to go first one to look round and wait until I understand how the rules of showing a dutch or Tort and white should be shown as the written rules is way over my head! but if someone show me and explain (and me ask dumb questions) it will become all clear!!
I will pop to staffordshire one in april and maybe Birmingham in March to look round.. |

Just decide to try Loughborough..
but need to know what time it finish as I have to juggle with being a mother/taxi driver (taking young to ballet at 9am!)
(Have tried email but no reply yet)
I think new people (like me who want to learn and build confidence before enter one of the show) will pop to visit to see what it is like if they knew what time it start AND finish.. |

Ahr dont panic ! we are here for that ?! hehehehhe
well the booking in has finished but if it hadnt and i knew you where going i would have booked in and met you there ? but i have to look after my sisters kids now ? sorry
otherwise i would have come up to get you started
dont be disheartened that they havent replyed yet somtinmes they are busy ?
the judging starts at 10.30am and will probably finish around 4ish depending on the amount of piggys there ?
if you are going just for a few hours to get used to it and have a look round, then i will not matter what time you go ?!
its best to go when they are judging as its less busy
in the morning its a bit mad as people only have a small time to pen there piggys ? (well before 10.30 anyway ?)
loughborough is a lovley show and the hall is not to small
they do lovley lunches and sometimes there is some bunnys up there ?
i hope you have some fun ? and meet some people
if you need any help just let me know and i will gladly do my best
all the best of luck from jenny x _________________ Hugging a Himalayan a day, Keeps the Doctor away !!

Visiting a show to see what goes on before entering any is an excellent idea! I did that before I started showing and it was great to get to talk to people who love piggies as much as we do! I can remember getting to the show at about 11.30am as judging was then underway and I was able to watch I was able to chat with people showing their guinea pigs and got tons of great advice I know you will have a wonderful time, can't wait to hear how you got on _________________

Yay ! your have great fun !
your girls will love it with all those piggys !
your get a good idea on how the show goes if you view on first !
i think the only thing i can do in sign language is my name ? and ok ? heheheh i might be able to guess what you where saying though !
entering a piggy is ok, all your have to do is send an email to the person dealing with the entries and say ....
your name
(how many piggys like so ?)
Tort and White adult boar
tort and white 5-8 sow (5-8 and u-5 is the months they are old ?)
as long as you tell them roughly what you will be taking they will be able to book you in no probs
have fun and good luck _________________ Hugging a Himalayan a day, Keeps the Doctor away !!
