I have just twelve cages Very Happy but want another block and a bigger shed for them all to go in, lol..... all I can say is watch this space! I also have one hutch vacant and a small indoor cage which I use for the occassional lodger that drops by.... ie. Sallys show piggies that like to stay the night before a show, lol. Problem is they are so gorgeous I don't want them to go back, bwhahahahahahaha! My hutch sizes are as follows... two blocks which are 3.5ft by just under 2ft and one boar block which is 2ft by 2ft Very Happy

I have a boar block 2X2 and then my ginormous cages for the big groups. They run 10ft by 2ft and I house 10 sows in each one. I also have 4ft X 2ft with 3 girls in, and a 6ft X 2ft for my 4 boars together.

I have 17 cages all various sizes but mainly 4ft and 3fts. All my boars live separately except when they are in for breeding and my sows live together in 2s or 3s depending on their size but I need more space so am thinking of getting another shed in addition to the one I've got (better not tell him indoors though!) Hi Debbie,

Yeah I have Almond and his 3 sons living very well together. The babies have reached 'that age' now but are being fantastic--no problems. Usually the crap hits the fan at around 3 months with younger boars, but these guys are 4.5 months now and not a peep *knocks on wood*

I have them in a 6 ft by 2ft cage, and keep them completely away from sow smells.

We have 16 cages, various sizes,
2 six foot
4 four foot
6 three foot
2 indoor cages
3 outdoor style hutches

takes a couple of hours to clean out, thats with my daughter and myself doing it, would love a 10 foot like pingley dell has.
