Patches - to be clean cut and distinct 25 points
equal distribution and uniform placing of patches 25 points
colour - the colour to be black , red and white in square cut patches of equal size and placed alternatively on each side of the cavy. Each colour must be clear and distinct without being intermixed one with another 20 points
shape and size 15 points
eyes and ears 5 points
condition and coat 10 points
total 100 points
a split head is preferable / 3 colour head is acceptable / a solid head is a minor fault.
eye to be dark
faults
=====
brindling, banding, cavies being short of any coloured patches on either side . any colour overlapping the centre line tip and under
hope this helps it is from the southern cavy standard book for judges and breeders

Brindling - different colours intermixed in the patches
banding - a patch of colour going more than half way round the body
Hope that helps
