Does anyone use the Allen and Page guinea pig mix. I am thinking of changing to this as the Spillers guinea pig muesli has gone up.
If you do, how much is it a bag and what size bags are they?

Hi Kingatecavies,

I am also going to try A & P Guineapig, I have heard good thing about it. I have been using FibreP + Rolled Oats for years now but I think they changed it recently and its no where near as good now Sad . I have also had trouble with babies getting the runs? Crying or Very sad .
Has anyone else found that FibreP has changed?

Sadie, where did you buy it from in Surrey? I am in Tadworth, is that far from you? Thanks, Sue

Also, do your guinea pigs like it?

We've used A & P guinea for years now and have found it very good. We mix it equal parts with either Pasture Mix, Bailey's economy Mix or Sixteen plus hores feed, and mix in a generous helping of Graze On dried grass.

It seems to work for us and the pigs love it.

I'm sure A & P have a website and will be able to give you local stockits. We pay £9.80 for a 20kg sack. There is also an A & P with added probiotice which is made under the name of the Natural Pet Food Company. It's more expensive though.

I don't use a&p but thought you would like to know about Dobson & Horrel's Just Grass it cost about £6.80 and is the same as redigrass, my pigs seem to like it alot better than the others. I mix it with my mix to add more fibre.
