How did everyone get on at Epsom today. I saw some lovely pigs, but did not hear who won best in show? Does anyone know?

Did not do so well with Pip today in the Adult Argente, came 2nd. Andrew Sparkes is not my favourite judge!

Aero did well at her first show in the pet class U/5, she came 2nd, and behaved much better than I thought she would Smile

We showed Lupin-Buckmore, Mary-Rose, Hufflepuff, and we also took Gabriel

Lupin
3 out of 4 (Black Himalayan)

Hufflepuff
1 out of 3 (Adult Smooth Pet))

Mary-Rose
2 out of 3 (Adult Slate)
2 out of 14 (in the challenge guide std adult)
3 out of 27 (challenge guide std any variety any age)

She got a lovely yellow rosette, our first one in yellow Very Happy

No idea who won BIS, sorry!

We had a wonderful day at Epsom, it was so much fun Very Happy

Results as follows Very Happy

Cyrus U5 Cinnamon Agouti Rex Boar ~ 1st in class

Pepe U5 AOC Rex Boar ~ 1st in class

Otis Adult Beige Boar ~ 1st in class, 2nd Challenge (Best of Breed rosette)

Rocky Adult Crested Pet Boar ~ 2nd place

Hairatio 5/8 Longhair Pet Boar ~ 2nd place

It was great to meet up with everyone again Very Happy

and well done everyone on their great results Very Happy

Conan (Golden/Lilac Argente Satin Boar): 2nd out of 2 Satin AOV u5
Dobby (Black Fox Boar): 1st out of 2 Tan/Fox Ad ~ 3rd out of 14 Challenge Guide Standard Ad ~ Plus Best of Breed
Mercury (Silver Agouti Boar): 1st out of 2 Agouti Silver Ad ~ 2nd out of 24 Challenge Marked/Ticked/AOV Ad
Max (Himalayan Rex Boar): 3rd out of 4 Rex AOC u5
Trouble (Golden Agouti Rex Boar): 3rd out of 5 Rex Agouti Ad
Petal (Smooth Pet Sow): 3rd out of 5 Smooth Sow u5

Looks like it was all a little too much for my Satin Conan................bless him.

This was my first time at Epsom Show, had a great day even the picnic by the duck pond was lovely. It was nice to meet you Sue and hope to see you or chat soon.

Harry - AOC Adult Rex Boar - 2nd

Whispa - 5/8 month old Smooth Coat Sow - 3rd

Truffel - 1st AOV 5/8 Tri Colour Boar - plus BEST OF BREED, and boy is he happy with himself.

Red - PE Golden Adult Sow
2nd PE Golden AD BS out of 4
2nd Challange AC Self AD BS out of 22
3rd Challange AS Self AA BS out 0t 47

What a good day we all had - well done to everyone.

hehhehe the picnic at the pond was lovley ? *grin*
very hot day and im suffering a bit of heat stroke ? Ooops
most of the piggys where very hot too by the time we got home ?

but we all had fun and didd very well

all of my himmys got 1st in there breed class

Shadow-Sleeper my Black Himalayan got Best of Breed
and 2nd Marked and Ticked in his age group

Malteser my Black Himalayan also got 3rd Marked and Ticked in his age group

Treacle-Tart my Roan got Best of Breed (for the first time and at her first show *grin* ) thanks to Kaz at Dorcilamus Wink

and Rocky-Mountain my slate got his breed class and
second in his age group in R.V's

so all in all a supa day !

hi i got best of breed for my rex sow and best of breed for my teddy sow so i was very pleased with them great day jan

The Leetes, got BIS, I only know because I was writing out the cards and doing the rosettes all day! Can't remember what breed of piggy it was for. Sorry!
