As no one has added anything about horses, here is a picture of me riding my friends horse Tio taken recently on Epsom Downs. She is a lovely horse to ride and I have been riding her for about 3 years. Only really get to do this once a week, but I love riding her.

WOW! Such a stunning photo. Tio is gorgeous and the Epsom Downs must be such a brilliant place to go riding *sigh* _________________

Hello,
I am totally mad for horses and I have been riding for four years. I don't have my own horse sadly because I live in town and my Mum cannot afford it But I ride whenever I can and love it!
What a lovley horse, she's lovley, what breed? She looks like she might have some arab or andulusion in here.
Thanks for sharing
Love,

Thanks Sugar, Tio is actually an Irish Draught cross Thoroughbred and is very sweet. My friend that owns her has shown me some pictures of Tio when she was younger and she was really dark iron grey and has got a lot whiter as she has got older. She is about 14 now, but great fun to ride as the owner does mostly eventing with her.
Thanks

Hello,
Yeah, white horses are always born dark colours (such as dark grey or black) and they get whiter as they age. White in the Horse World is not an offical colour, and she would be offically classified grey.
I love Irish Draughts, they are awesome Thourbreds rock too, though you wouldn't be able to do eventing on a pure thourbred, imagine how highly strung they would be, lol, but I've seen highly strung horses running around showjumping arenas and boy, they can do some damage. But thats no reason not to ride.
Do you have any other pictures you could post on here? I'd love to see them!
Love,

Hello Sue
I used to share Tio!! I shared her for a few months but had to give her up because I couldn't afford her - I think we've even met!?
Tio is such a gorgeous girlie, such a nice ride! I can't believe I found her on here! How bizarre!
Write back!

Hi Jasmine, great to see you on here. That was a great shame you stopped riding her. She recovered completely after her ligament injury and has been in great form. But the sad news is that I rode her last week for the last time, Karen and Roger have moved away down to Guildford, so I am very upset she has gone. I will go to see her later on, but it is too far to go to ride all the time. I am off to the Epsom show tomorrow at Burgh Heath on A217, are you coming along? May see you there.

Aww thats a shame - do you know whereabouts in Guildford they have moved too? I'm studying there atm.
I missed the show - I didn't know if I'd be 'welcome' - I thought you may have to be like a member or be entering a class?! Is this the case or can anyone attend? _________________ Pampered Cavies = Happy Cavies! |

Even if you haven't entered a piggy or are not a member you are more than welcome to come along for a look round. That way you can see what goes on, ask questions and decide if you would like to enter in the future The next show at Epsom isn't until January now, but there are others around Not sure how far you are able to travel but there are shows coming up soon at North Herts, Kent Coast and Mid-Sussex _________________
