Last night my poor Ice eventualy gave up

Ice is a Aby cross pet she was cream and white and very bossy to the other piggys her hair has been thining for a while, and her posture has been changing, a week ago she went all limp and unwell so i did my best to make her as well as i could, i even told her then she was old and she was alowed to give up if she wanted ? but she hung in there for a week
but she was really old and has decided to pass away last night

with the rest of my shed thinking its dinner time and squeeking away
i stayed with my baby Ice untill the end

she was the first piggy my husband bought for me over 7 1/2 years ago
she had been through it all in the begining
she had a lovely litter and then by accident got pregnant by her son ? Yuk!
and when she came to deliever her baby she couldnt, as he was stuck so i rushed her off to have a C-section and this massive 8oz baby was removed ? *EEK* but that was over 6 years ago and £120 later
she was good as new she run around and was back to her old self in no time and so i promised her she wasnt going to have anymore babies
so she stayed at the bottom of my cages and she was always running around the floor like a freerange piggy (nicking food by running off with carrots and hitting her cage mates around the head with them)
she always made me smile.

i miss Ice already and i think that she can go and see her mum now so she can have as much grass as she wishes Very Happy

Awwwwwwwww, Jen, I am so sorry Crying or Very sad

Ice was a beautiful piggy and I know you loved her so very much. I'm glad you got to be with her at the end and to say goodbye, that would of comforted her so much. ((((((((((( HUGE HUGS )))))))))))) to you and rest in peace sweet little Ice.

I have read about your dear Ice and It has certainly brought tears to my eyes,wonderful that you had a long time with her,but a painful reminder that they have not got long with us so it's us owners jobs to spoil them rotten regards Karen

Oh Jen, its so sad you lost Ice. She was so beautiful, and you got her to live such a lovely long time. You took such great care of her, she was such a lucky little piggy and had a happy life with you.
