Hello,

As most of you know, Sugar escaped the other day, and as everyone knows Guinea Pigs need grass - and a lot of it. So today Mum and I went down the to the local hardware shop and got some supplies to make a small grass pen for Sugar outside. What we bought was:

Gutter Guard
Zip Ties
Laundry Basket

What we did was cut lengths of the Gutter Guard and zip-tied them together. Then once we had a long and wide enough piece of Gutter Guard, we put it on the bottom of the Laundry Basket. Then we zip-tied the Gutter Guard to the bottom of the Laundry Basket and cut a hole up the top of the Laundry Basket for us to put Sugar in and out of.

Its works great, and Sugar loves being in it, nibbling away at the grass. She doesn't live in it of course, she only spends about half and hour in the morning & afternoon in it out on the lawn, with us of course watching her carefully. Today was the first time we used it, and she likes it a lot. Mum thought of the idea actually (how I wish I could say I did, ) and I thought it was great. So does Sugar, so all in all, its the perfect grazing pen. The only thing that stopped her from still grazing now was the fact that it started raining, so we brought them inside. I didn't get pictures of her outside (I went to get the camera when the rain started) but I took some of it inside.

Try it yourself Smile Its great Smile

Love,
