Very sad day today, Tom has lost his lovely black boar Sweep. He had not been well for a while now, probably a kidney stone. He produced some lovely babies and he was a very friendly pig, always at the front of the cage to say hello. Recently he looked after his babies when their mum Badger died in January. He was a great Dad to them all. He will be greatly missed.

Thanks for your kind messages. Tom was upset, I had to tell him when he got back from school.
You will have to tell poor Otis Jo that he has lost both his mum and dad now, very sad.
I burried Sweep in the garden and put a lovely plant on the top, so we can watch it grow. I have 2 of his daughters, (Minstrel and Aero) so hopefully I can breed some lovely pigs from them as Sweep's legacy.
