hi im useless at the proper names of the colours ,so i would be really greatful if people could post pigtures with the colours thanks dawn x

im sure we can all manage that between us ?
so apart from the obviouse Black and White (and Himmys as they are easy)
i can show you a slate roan this is Mocha

Slate is a bit more brown than lilac, as lilac is more grey ? i think that right ?
the only other piggys i have are white or a poor example of a colour as they are pets ? sorry

Jenny, what an absolutely gorgeous Guineapig. Mocha looks choc roan from the pic? Really beautiful piggy!

Slate is dark grey with dark ruby eyes and Lilac is a pale almost dove grey with pink eyes. Choc is in varying shades going from milk to dark. I prefer milk choc which also have dark ruby eyes. In the long haired breeds the colour seems to lighten as it grows longer. The true colour can normally be seen on the their face. Sometimes if you get a darker lilac and a lighter slate, its hard to tell what they are. Sometimes eye colour can help.

These are my boi's Fudge and Ripple, Fudge is a cream, white and chocolate Boar and his brother Ripple is a tort a white which is Red, white and black:



Hope you like them, i do have other guiea pigs but they are mostly white and chocolate
